The Rock’s next big movie after wrapping Rampage in Atlanta is Skyscraper in Vancouver.
Skyscraper = Die Hard in Hong Kong?
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars as Will Ford, a former veteran and FBI hostage rescue team leader, who now assesses security for skyscrapers. When the world’s tallest, safest tower goes up in flames in Hong Kong while he’s on assignment, Johnson finds himself framed for the arson. How will he clear his name and rescue his family trapped in the tower above the fire line?
3D Skyscraper is expected to film in metro Vancouver from August 15th to October 31st (dates subject to change), according to Production Weekly.
Update: 3D Skyscraper scheduled to film in metro Vancouver from August 14th to November 17th (dates subject to change), according to Directors Guild of Canada – BC Production List.
And will be in theatres a year later on July 13th, 2018.
