START: DEADPOOL 2 With Ryan Reynolds Starts Filming in Vancouver With a Week of Downtown Shoots

Updated: After the big X-Men Mansion drop-in a few weeks ago, Deadpool 2’s start of filming in Vancouver proved quieter with a shoot of Deadpool at a kids party and then an afternoon shoot on the roof of  a downtown office tower yesterday. Deadpool was photographed bouncing on a trampoline at the kids party and on the roof wielding  a gun while wearing his mask and Crazy Horse t-shirt. Deadpool 2 — with the working titles Caribbean Blue, Daisy and Love Machine — will shoot in metro Vancouver until early October.

And is downtown all week. Tonight on the roof of a small office tower at 1090 West Pender Street.

And overnight on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights in and around the 300 block Cambie Street. The City of Vancouver had to repave a bit of the street for what are expected to be car-flipping stunts.

The Deadpool 2 teaser at Logan screenings revealed Nathan Summers was coming. Summers is Cable, who’s a member of X-Force, along with Domino.

Josh Brolin is Nathan Summers aka Cable. The Merc with a Mouth teams up with the grumpy, time-travelling son of Cycops.
