New Curse. New City. New Identities.
Once Upon a Time season 7 starts filming on Thursday, July 6th, in Vancouver. In the reset season, old favourites like Regina, the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla), Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) are victims of a new curse that places them in a new city with new identities, along with a grownup Henry (Andrew J. West) and his daughter Lucy (Alison Fernandez). Hyperion Heights — the episode title of the season premiere — could be the new Storybrooke.

After six seasons, the residents of the Enchanted Forest face their greatest challenge yet as The Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla), Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) join forces with a grown-up Henry Mills and his daughter Lucy on an epic quest to once again bring hope to their world and ours. Along the way, fairy tale characters new and old search for true love, find adventure and once again take sides in the struggle of good against evil, as classic tales are once more twisted and reimagined.

Amazing to watch this guy’s journey over the years. So much great work. Honored to pick up the thread. @Jared_Gilmore pic.twitter.com/sj3VUsZk1Q

Lucy.
Storybrooke, Maine, is no longer the main real world locale. Young Lucy found her father Henry on the west coast of the United States in Seattle.
This likely means Once Upon a Time will be filming in other locations as the new city and much less in the village of Steveston as Storybrooke.
Enchanted Forest locations should remain the same. And the production schedule remains the same.
Once Upon a Time season 7 starts filming 22 episodes in metro Vancouver on July 6th and wraps in early April next year.
Other change: Season 7 moves from Sundays to Fridays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
