Freeform has ordered an American pilot of British cult hit Misfits to film in Vancouver at the end of the month. What was the series about? Five young offenders working together on court-mandated community service end up with weirdly appropriate superpowers after being struck my lightning. Party girl Alicia can send anyone she touches into a sexual frenzy;, football player Curtis can turn back time; angry. paranoid Kelly can hear the thoughts of others and shy, introverted Simon can make himself invisible. Only con artist Nathan seems to have no aftereffects. How will these badass youths use their new-found powers? For good or to have a good time?
Freeform pilot Misfits is expected to start filming June 26th and wrap July 14th.
