“The move of the show to Vancouver is going to help us really open up the world of the show,” co-creator Carlton Cuse told The Hollywood Reporter.
Colony ended season 2 with the all five members of the Bowman family leaving alien-controlled Los Angeles for parts unknown aka Vancouver.
Production of the USA Network show moved north too.
From Los Angeles.
To Vancouver. Concept art for season 3 revealed at today’s San Diego Comic Con panel. Note the evergreens.
What’s Colony about? Aliens occupy Los Angeles and divide it into different blocs. Citizens split between collaborators and resistance. Will Bowman (Josh Holloway) becomes a collaborator in a bid to find his son in a different bloc. His wife Katie Bowman (Sarah Wayne Callies) joins the resistance putting the family at odds. By the end of season 2 the family is reunited and ready to leave.
