Main quartet to reunite for Supernatural spinoff Wayward Sisters. Donna Hanscum (Briana Buckmaster) and orphaned young women Claire Novak (Kathryn Newton), Alex Jones (Katherine Ramdeem) and new character Patience Turner (BAcko) join Sheriff Jody Mills (Kim Rhodes) in spinoff, reports Deadline Hollywood.
Supernatural fans have been lobbying for a female-centric spinoff with Sheriff Mills, her two adopted daughters and Sheriff Hanscum since the season eleven episode Don’t You Forget About Me a few years ago.
Earlier, fans picked up on the chemistry between Jody Mills and Donna Hanscum when they met at a Sheriff’s retreat in season 10 episode Hibbing 911.
And now the spinoff is happening. Supernatural is developing a planted spinoff with the working title Wayward Sisters that will have a backdoor pilot in an episode of Supernatural season 13, Deadline: Hollywood reports. I
