What If Your Life Depended On A Stranger?

Adapted from the Charles Martin book, two strangers — photojournalist Alex Martin (Kate Winslet) and surgeon Ben Bass (Idris Elba) –stranded at an airport in winter weather decide to charter a plane to get home. When the small plane crashes on a mountain, the two strangers must forge a connection to survive freezing temperatures and snow. When they realize help is not coming, they embark on a journey across hundreds of miles of wilderness, pushing one another to endure and discovering strength they never knew possible.
Directed by Any Abu-Assad, Mountain Between Us filmed in various locations around Vancouver and spent a month near Invermere in the Kootenay Mountains.
