What is The X-Files doing in a church? Fans would like it to be the long-hoped-for Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) wedding but Duchovny looks more like a minister than a groom in this photo shared by Anderson inside Vancouver’s St. Andrew’s Wesley Church.

What’s more likely is this is a stop in the search for Mulder and Scully’s son William, since it was Scully’s pastor who arranged the adoption.

I walked by the Wednesday night shoot and photographed The X-Files production shining an exterior light on one of the stain glass windows.
The following day, The X-Files was spotted at Peace Portal Church in Surrey.
