Hallmark Channel has renewed Chesapeake Shores — the story of divorced Mom Abby O’Brien (Meghan Ory)’s reunion with her high school love Trace (Jesse Metcalfe) — for a third season. Based on the novels by Sherryl Woods, the series films in Parksville and Quelicum Beach on Vancouver Island as a fictional Chesapeake town with occasional shoots in downtown Nanaimo as New York City.
