Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) is still back with Team Arrow, filming tonight at Vancouver Film Studios.
Remember when Thea Queen (Willa Holland) was looking for Roy at Oliver and Felicity (Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickard)’s wedding reception in the mid-season finale?
He used to be Thea’s boyfriend and Oliver’s sidekick and crime-fighting partner Arsenal. Roy left Team Arrow after masquerading as the Arrow and faking his own death. Thea got his Arsenal suit and took his place on Team Arrow as Speedy. Later Roy returned for an episode in season 4 when Felicity’s Dad blackmailed him into stealing for him.
What brings him back this time?
Roy is called back to Star City to help resolve an urgent matter with high stakes for the team. His short visit turns into something surprising when he reunites with Thea and sparks a change in both of their lives that will have long-lasting consequences. — showrunners Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle.
