When Supernatural returns with a new episode next Thursday, March 1st, we will visit Lucifer’s son Jack (Alexander Calvert) and Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith) in the Apocalypse World. Michael & Co. are in Jack’s head fooling him with a fake Castiel. But somehow he and Mary manage to escape Michael’s clutches with the help of that world’s Bobby Singer (Jim Beaver).
Meanwhile, Mary’s sons Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester and the real Castiel continue to search for a way to open a breach.

In our latest episode “Good Intentions,” I’m lucky enough to work with Samantha Smith and Jim Beaver. Everything we shot for this episode was in the pouring rain, and pretty much took place in a mud pit. I felt like we were shooting the sequel to Apocalypse Now. — Alex Calvert to Marie Claire.
