What’s it about?
A mysterious young woman named Ryn (Eline Powell) arrives in Bristol Cove during its annual Mermaid Days Festival, which celebrates the local legend that this coastal town was once home to mermaids. Marine biologist Ben (Alex Roe) is drawn to Ryn. Turns out she’s a mermaid and there are others like her.
Fola Evans-Akingola, Ian Verdun and Rena Owen co-star.
Eric Wald and Dean White co-created the series. Emily Whitesell is the showrunner.
Siren has been a ratings success with young women. It debuted as the top new cable drama with young women 18-34 and 12-34.
Steveston and North Vancouver’s Deep Cove play Bristol Cove.
Siren’s season finale airs on May 24th on Freeform and ABC Spark.
