The CW renewed The 100 for season 6 today after only 2 episodes of the current season had aired.

Season 5:
Six years after Praimfaya destroyed Earth (again) and killed most of the life on it, Clarke (Eliza Taylor) is alone on the surface in the “one spot of green” except for a fellow young survivor Maddie.
The rest of the 100 has been on the Arc in space with Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Raven (Lindsey Morgan).
Or below ground in a bunker with Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) and its 1,200 survivors.
Then a prison ship from the first nuclear disaster on Earth drops from the sky into the same “one spot of green”. Its inhabitants have been in hyper-sleep for 100 years.
