Syfy dropped a Deadly Class trailer today at the NBC-Universal Upfront in New York City.
Set in a dark, comic book world against the backdrop of late ’80s counterculture, Deadly Class follows a homeless teen recruited into a storied elite private school where the world’s top crime families send their next generations. Maintaining his moral code while surviving a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques, and his own adolescent uncertainties soon proves to be vital.
Deadly Class is a graphic novel adapted for TV about a teen with a moral code recruited into a School for Assassins.
From the Russo brothers — directors of the biggest movie in the world, Avengers: Infinity War.
Benjamin Wadsworth is teen-with-a-code Marcus who has to survive this brutal school.
Lana Condor is the deadly Saya, an outcast from one of Japan’s top Yakuza clans.
Luke Tennie is Willie who’s forced into the school by his mother, the leader of an L.A. gang.
Benedict Wong is master of King’s Dominion Atelier of the Deadly Arts
Maria Gabriela de Faria is the unstable Maria, a young femme fatale who can become murderous with rage.
Liam James is skater punk and misfit Billy, whose father is a corrupt cop.

The Deadly class pilot filmed in Vancouver last Fall inside the former Canada Post Building, on a closed block of Cambie Street and the Front Street Parkade in New Westminster, among other locations.
