ABC Upfront: May 15th, 4 p.m.

The CW’s CHARMED

The Charmed reboot is the frontrunner at The CW, according to the TV trades.

What’s it about?

Three sisters in the college town of Hilltowne University discover they are witches.

Macy (Madeleine Mantock), Mel (Melonie Diaz) and Maggie Vera (Vancouver’s own Sarah Jeffery) are similar to Prue, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell from the original Charmed series, but there is one modern twist — middle sister Mel (Diaz) is a lesbian.

From the filming in Vancouver we’ve seen the Vera house is a Victorian in New Westminster and we know that the fictional college in the pilot is Hilltowne University.

Charmed used the same New Westminster house for exteriors as Witches of East End.
