Is Quantico star Priyanka Chopra (recently engaged to Nick Jonas) coming to Vancouver this Fall?
Chopra is in talks to co-star with Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy/Jurassic Park) in Cowboy Ninja Viking, expected to film in Vancouver, Berlin, the U.K. and Ireland.
Vancouver’s own Michelle MacLaren is directing the big-budget feature.
What’s Cowboy Ninja Viking about?
Duncan (Pratt) is a soldier who becomes a “Triplet” with the personalities of an American cowboy, Japanese Ninja and Scandinavian Viking inside his mind.
Naturally he’s the product of a secret government program for the war on terror. When the unit falls apart and the other Triplets go rogue, who else would you send out to find and stop them?
Based on a graphic novel by writer A.J. Lieberman and artist Riley Rossno, Cowboy Ninja Viking is being adapted by by Paul Wernick, Rett Reese and Craig Mazin.
And be released in theatres the year after on June 28th, 2019.
