A big sci-fi movie called BIOS with Tom Hanks may film in Vancouver next year.
Originally expected to film in Vancouver this Spring, production has been pushed until next Spring, according to Production Weekly.
New filming dates: February 25th – May 19th, 2019.
What’s it about? BIOS = Basic Input/Output System. On a post-apocalyptic Earth, a robot built to protect the life of his ailing creator (Tom Hanks)’s beloved dog learns about love, friendship and the meaning of human life.
Kevin Misher and Robert Zemeckis are executive producers with Craig Luck and Ivor Powell as writers and Miguel Sapochnik (Game of Thrones) as the director.
