DC CROSSOVER: THE FLASH, ARROW, SUPERGIRL, BATWOMAN Crossover With Superman & Lois Lane

This year’s DC Crossover on The CW may not have aliens or Nazis but it will have Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) in all three episodes and introduce his significant other Lois Lane (yet to be cast).

As well as lesbian superhero Batwoman (Ruby Rose) and Gotham City, as Stephen Amell announced in May.

Casting the out lesbian Ruby Rose as Kate Kane seemed perfect, except to a small vocal part of the lesbian community who had championed a different actress.

Ruby Rose quit Twitter and deactivated public comments on her Instagram account because of their online trolling that she wasn’t lesbian enough.

Where on Earth did ‘Ruby is not a lesbian therefore she can’t be Batwoman’ come from – has to be the funniest most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read. I came out at 12? And have for the past 5 years had to deal with ‘she’s too gay’ how do y’all flip it like that? I didn’t change. I wish we would all support each other and our journeys. — Ruby Rose.

The annual crossover is flipping the order: it starts with The Flash on Sunday, December 9th, followed by Arrow on Monday, December 10th and ends with Supergirl on Tuesday, December 11th —  all at 8 p.m.
