SEASON 2: THE GOOD DOCTOR Trailer With Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy

The Good Doctor Season 2

Autistic and brilliant Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) botched a surgery last season, rattled because he’d learned that his mentor Dr. Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff) might be dying of cancer. The patient survived but Shaun and Glassman told the Chief of Surgery Dr. Marcus Andrews (Hill Harper) what happened. The season 2 trailer confirms both men will be back but will their roles at San Jose hospital St. Bonaventure change?

The Good Doctor was a Top Ten hit in its freshman season on ABC, ranking #7 in total viewers with an average audience of 15.6 million viewers and #9 in the coveted 18-49 demo with 3.2.

I saw Freddie Highmore and Richard Schiff outside Vancouver Community College — which regularly plays St. Bonaventure — between setups for the sequence of scenes above. Highmore wrote the season 2 premiere.
