Katie Holmes is set to return to the big screen in the sequel to horror thriller The Boy, expected to film in Victoria in the new year.
Holmes cameo-ed in Ocean’s Eight.

In the next chapter of the Brahms story, a new family moves into Heelshire mansion where the young son makes an unsettling new friend — the eerily life-like doll Brahms. Katie Holmes is his mother.
Screenwriter Stacey Menear and director William Brent Bell return for The Boy 2, which starts filming January 14th.
The original, starring Lauren Cohen and Rupert Evans, grossed almost $70 million on a $15 million budget.
