MILESTONE: SUPERNATURAL Family Reunion. Jeffrey Dean Morgan Joins Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles To Film 300th Episode

Supernatural 300th episode.

Lebanon. Episode 14×13. Written by Andrew Dabb & Meredith Glynn. Directed by Robert Singer.

Cast: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Surprise! It’s a long-awaited family reunion. Papa Winchester aka Jeffrey Dean Morgan returns for the 300th episode of Supernatural.

We’re incredibly excited to have Jeffrey back for this milestone episode, and think fans will love what we have planned for his character… and a few other surprise guest stars — statement from showrunner Andrew Dabb.

Sam & Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles)’s father John (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) died fairly early in Supernatural’s long run, as Morgan moved on in 2008 to star the movie Watchmen. Since then he’s been in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, starred in the Magic City series and co-starred in The Extant, The Good Wife, Texas Rising and The Walking Dead series, where he still plays bat-wielding baddie Negan.

As well as the family reunion, Supernatural’s 300th episode, involves a little time travel, features a different version of Castiel (Misha Collins) and introduces us to the town of Lebanon: the site of the Men of Letters bunker, which houses many artifacts and where Sam & Dean have made a home for several seasons.

What do the townsfolk of Lebanon think of Sam & Dean? Do they see them driving the Impala down Main Street? Going to the local diner? Getting their blood-stained clothes clean at the local wash n’ dry?

The real Lebanon, Kansas.

So far, Supernatural has used south Burnaby’s Backlot town set built for the Watchmen, as Lebanon, Kansas.

I saw Supernatural filming there in Season 6.

Supernatural filmed there until 3 a.m. tonight.

Was Jeffrey Dean Morgan there? Back in the place where he filmed the Watchmen?

Or does he start filming on Thursday, as Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki hinted at in fan convention panels?

Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins took to the stage last May at The CW Upfront to talk about the show’s 300th episode.

Supernatural’s 300th episode airs Thursday, February 7th, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
