After all, that’s where we first met Gotham City’s lesbian hero in the Elseworlds Crossover.
Batwoman on Chicago’s Art Deco Carbide & Carbon Building (now St. Jane Chicago Hotel) as Wayne Enterprises.
We’ll learn about Kate Kane’s origin story — and maybe a bit more about all those tattoos — in a pilot directed by Marcos Siega not (as reported earlier) by the Emmy-winning David Nutter, who did a spectacular job on The Flash and Arrow pilots.
Siega directed The Vampire Diaries pilot for The CW and is part of the Berlanti Universe as well, having directed two episodes of the creepy good streaming hit You, including the season finale.
He can bring that dark sensibility to Kate Kane/Batwoman’s origin story.
