Chesapeake Shores returns to Vancouver Island this Spring/Summer to film a fourth season of Hallmark Channel’s hit series.

At its core, Chesapeake Shores is about reunited high school sweethearts Trace Riley (Jesse Metcalfe) and Abby O’Brien (Meghan Ory) and her multi-generational family: patriarch Mick (Treat Williams), divorced Mom and former NYC career woman Abby (Ory), B&B owner Jess (Laci J. Mailey), playwright turned bookstore owner Bree (Emilie Ullerup), soldier-turned-medic Kevin (Brendan Penny), lawyer Connor (Andrew Francis), grandmother Nell (Diane Ladd) and once-estranged mother Megan (Barbara Niven).
Based on the novels by Sherryl Woods, the series shoots in Parksville and Quelicum Beach on Vancouver Island as a fictional Chesapeake town with occasional shoots in downtown Nanaimo.
