CASTING: ARROW Director James Bamford’s Daughter Jade as Young Mia

Arrow Season 7.

Like father. Like daughter.

I follow James Bamford on Instagram so I’ve watched his daughter Jade grow up and instantly recognized her as young Mia on this week’s Arrow.

James Bamford started off as fight coordinator on Arrow, then stunt coordinator and moved onto directing and producing.

His daughter has the skills to do the same.

I’ve been saving this for tonight. Shooting this day was hard for me….trying to work through the tears of joy isn’t my usual operative state. Thankfully I had @kat.mcnamara to guide this little one through her professional debut. “The Mighty Mia’s” day on #Arrow goes down as my favorite day on set in my career……with about 100000000000 close seconds.
