The first teaser-trailer reportedly is Sonic-centric, showing the blue blur speeding across a desert until James Marsden’s cop shoots him with a tranquilizer gun.

It ends with a glimpse of Dr. Robotnik.
I like to see you saved the best for last in the trailer, but this crowd deserves a real taste of what a real star vehicle is like. His Dr. Robotnik isn’t egg-shaped nor is he bald.
He’s Jim Carrey all in black with a black handlebar moustache.

He suggested new titles: Robotkic Conquers the World? Eggman: Hard Boiled?
Sonic squad on way to Las Vegas.
But Sonic is no slouch.

He’s a more muscular version of the Sega game’s blue hedgehog.
Online reaction was pretty negative to an animated movie poster with the human proportions.
