The Indictment:

Lori Loughlin and fellow actress Felicity Huffman were among the 40 charged in “Operation Varsity Blues” on Tuesday, March 12th.

Loughlin’s husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, was taken into custody that day and she left Vancouver where she was the filming the latest Garage Sale Mysteries — Three Little Murders — to surrender to authorities in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning. She was later released on $1 million bail.

Loughlin and her husband allegedly paid the $500,000 in “exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the U.S.C. crew team” even though neither of them rowed. The daughters posed for photos on rowing machines to sell the scam.

Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend mocked the scam in a tweet.

Olivia Jane no longer attends USC and her parents are facing jail time.

Loughlin was arraigned in federal court in Boston and she and Giannulli were charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. The couple are charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering too.
