Supergirl is back filming season 5 in Vancouver a little earlier.
To get a jump on this year’s mega-crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths?
Filming dates: June 27th – April 14th.
Cast: Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh, Mehcad Brooks, David Harewood, Katie McGrath, Jesse Rath, Nicole Maines.
Jesse Warn is directing the season 5 premiere.
Season 4 introduced the first transgender superhero Dreamer to the team.
And Jon Cryer as Lena’s brother the Big Bad Lex Luthor.
It ended with a nod to the hive mind Leviathan.
The promise of a reckoning over Kara’s decision to keep her secret identity from her friend Lena Luthor for years, as Lena smashed a framed photo of her, Kara and Alex.
The Monitor bringing a Martian to Earth who vowed revenge on the brother who wronged him — J’onn J’onz.
And then The Monitor standing over the body of Lex Luthor.
He’ll be back?
Supergirl is moving to 9 p.m. on Sundays this Fall on The CW. Following Batwoman at 8 p.m. Premieres October 6th.
