FINAL SEASON: ARROW’s Stephen Amell Back for Season 8 in Vancouver. Meets With Fans

Oliver Queen is back.

Here’s Stephen Amell on location in Vancouver Friday for Arrow’s final season.

Tommy Merlyn was there too. Colin Donnell, who played Oliver Queen’s best friend and died at the end of season one, is guest-starring in season 8 as a new version of Tommy.

The season 8 premiere title Starling City is a throwback to the early seasons of Arrow before the city changed its name to Star City in season 4.

Arrow was doing some stunt fighting with atmospheric smoke inside an old bank building dubbed The Fortress on  Friday.

Next up for the season 8 premiere — back to Queen Manor?

Hartley Castle in Victoria is the original Queen Manor.

But Arrow uses a house south of Vancouver for Queen Manor interiors and some stately garden exteriors.

Crew was prepping the 72nd Street house in Delta on Friday.

Arrow started filming its final season on Thursday.

Filming dates: July 11th to November 14th.

Episodes: 10.

Cast: Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Katie Cassidy, Juliana Harkavy, Rick Gonzalez, Katherine McNamara, Ben Lewis, Joseph David-Jones and Charlie Barnett.

Josh Segarra, who played  season 5 Big Bad Adrian Chase/Prometheus is returning.

Emily Bett Rickards aka Felicity Smoak  is not a series regular in the final season so there won’t be OTA/Original Team Arrow or Olicity/Oliver & Felicity, but she could be back too.

Does Oliver Queen really die in the final season?

He made a deal with the Monitor in last year’s crossover Elseworlds to save Barry Allen and Kara Danvers aka The Flash and Supergirl.

The Monitor came to collect at the end of season 7. Where does he take him?

Former showrunner Marc Guggenheim teased some new costumes for the final season.

Will Oliver Queen die in Crisis on Infinite Earths?

Batwoman, Supergirl, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow are crossing over.

Crisis on Infinite Earths has five episodes: three in December and two in January.
