But Team Flash made a choice in the season 5 finale to defeat Cicada 2, creating a new timeline in the future where Barry and Iris’s daughter doesn’t exist.

Turns out this is the fourth fake Godspeed apprehended by The Flash this summer.
What is going on? We’ll have to wait to find out.
The central mystery of season 6 is the Flash Missing/Vanishes in Crisis storyline, which has moved up to 2019 from 2024.

The headline suggests this happens during the big five-way crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths.
Batwoman, Supergirl, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow are crossing over.
Crisis on Infinite Earths has five episodes: three in December and two in January.
