Lori Loughlin’s daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli isn’t happy about the coverage of her family post-Operation Varsity Blues aka the college admissions bribery scandal. The Instagram influencer gave two middle fingers today to celebrity sites Daily Mail, Star Magazine, People and Perez Hilton, along with “every other media outlet”.

Five months ago, her mother Lori Loughlin was in Vancouver filming Hallmark’s Garage Sale Mysteries when she was indicted in Operation Varsity Blues. She and fellow actress Felicity Huffman were among 50 people charged with paying bribes to get their children into elite colleges.

Hallmark cut its ties with the Lori Loughlin and edited her out of already-filmed season 6 of When Calls the Heart. “Aunt Becky” is not appearing in the latest instalment of the Full House revival either.

Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli allegedly paid $500,000 to get their daughters Isabella and Olivia Jade into the University of Southern California. The money was in “exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the U.S.C. crew team”, even though neither daughter rowed. Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded not guilty on all charges.

Felicity Huffman pleaded guilty and wrote a letter of apology.

Lifetime is already in Vancouver filming a movie (working title: Operation Varsity Blues) about the scandal with Penelope Ann Miller and Mia Kirshner cast as fictionalized wealthy Moms and Michael Shanks as college admissions consultant Rick Singer.

The College Admissions Scandal follows Caroline (Penelope Ann Miller), a sought after interior designer and Bethany (Mia Kirshner), an owner of a successful financial services firm, who share an obsession with getting their teenagers into the best possible college. When charismatic college admissions consultant Rick Singer (Michael Shanks) offers a side door into the prestigious institutions of their dreams, Caroline and Bethany willingly partake with visions of coveted acceptance letters in their heads. But when Singer cooperates with the FBI and pleads guilty, the mothers who risked everything for their kids, must face the consequences of their crimes and the loss of trust and respect from their families.
