Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles had a bit of fun today with Padalecki’s real-life Texas bar fight a month ago.

But then Padalecki apologized to fans for his lapse in behaviour.

Fangasm and hundreds of other Supernatural fans showed their love at the Creation Entertainment Supernatural fan convention in Jacksonville, Florida.

What’s it all about? Jared Padalecki was arrested in Austin, Texas, a month ago outside the bar Stereotype he co-owns. Padalecki was charged with two counts of Class A misdemeanor assault with injury, one count of public intoxication and later released on bail, according to the Austin American-Statesman.

He had a scheduled couple of days off before returning to Vancouver to film Supernatural’s final season. When he returned to studio on Wednesday, October 30th, cast and crew showed their support and love as Jensen Ackles walked his “big, dumb friend”onto set in handcuffs.

Jensen Ackles: I’ll just say it now, [Jared] had a bad weekend… He’s dealing with what he’s gotta deal with so just send him support and love….When he showed up on set cause he had a couple of days off …which turned out to be a good thing…when he showed up on set … I brought him in in handcuffs so we were having fun with it…the crew really wanted to wear orange jump suits but we couldn’t get them in time so….wasn’t like we thought it was a bad idea…we were certainly going to roll with it…anyway he’s doing fine. He sends his love.

Jim Beaver and Kim Rhodes were on set guest-starring in the episode as  Sheriff Jody Mills and Bobby Singer.

Jim Beaver spoke up for his friend.

Fans peppered him with questions about “Sam” aka Jared Padalecki.

Jared Padalecki was still in Vancouver on Halloween. You can see him in Brad Creasser’s montage of crew Halloween costumes.

But he didn’t attend the Creation Entertainment fan convention on Sunday, November 3rd, in Washington, D.C.

Jensen Ackles spoke about it at the convention: We all miss my big dumb friend ….I’ll just say it now, he had a bad weekend last weekend. He’s dealing with what he’s gotta deal with so just send him support and love and have a good weekend this weekend….When he showed up on set cause he had a couple of days off last week …which turned out to be a good thing…when he showed up on set on Wednesday I brought him in in handcuffs so we were having fun with it…the crew really wanted to wear orange jump suits but we couldn’t get them in time so….wasn’t like we thought it was a bad idea…we were certainly going to roll with it…anyway he’s doing fine. He sends his love .

Jared Padalecki expressed his regret for not being there in a tweet that went viral.

In the weeks since, Padalecki has continued to film Supernatural in Vancouver.

And today made his scheduled appearance at the Supernatural fan convention in Jacksonville, Florida.
