Here’s a first look at Kurt Russell’s rocker Santa Claus and Goldie Hawn as Mrs. Claus filming the sequel to Netflix streaming hit The Christmas Chronicles in Vancouver.
Deadpool 2’s Julian Dennison is the mysterious, magical troublemaker Belsnickel who threatens to destroy Christmas.
The Office’s Dwight Schrute famously dressed as Belsnickel.
Filming dates: October 21st – February 1, 2020.
Cast: Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn, Julian Dennison, Darby Camp, Kimberly Williams Paisley,Judah Lewis and Jahzir Bruno.
Director: Chris Columbus.
Start of production was pushed back a few times. The Flash’s Danielle Panabaker travelled with Goldie Hawn on a flight from Vancouver to Los Angeles in mid-September.

The Haunting of Bly Manor show runner Mike Flanagan gave up his seat in mid-October so that Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn could sit together on a flight to Vancouver.

On Christmas Eve 2018, a brother and sister hatch a plan to catch Santa Claus on camera. They discover he’s real but after they stowaway on his sleigh and cause it to crash land in Chicago, they need to help Santa save Christmas.
