SEASON 6: Godspeed & Pied Piper Return on Penultimate THE FLASH Directed By Amanda Tapping

Godspeed and Pied Piper return for the eighteenth of The Flash’s nineteen filmed episodes of season 6.

Pay the Piper, directed by Vancouver’s Sci-Fi Queen Amanda Tapping, airs Tuesday, May 5th.

GODSPEED AND PIED PIPER RETURN   – When Godspeed returns, Barry (Grant Gustin) turns to Hartley Rathaway (Andy Mientus) for help.  However, things get tense quickly after Barry realizes one of the changes from Crisis is that The Flash and Pied Piper are now enemies. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) tries to escape the Mirrorverse.  Amanda Tapping directed the episode written by Jess Carson (#618). 

The return of Godspeed does not go well for a Flash who’s lost most of his speed.

Godspeed versus the Flash was filmed in a laneway in downtown Vancouver.

Is this a new post-Crisis Godspeed? Season 6 began with the Flash battling four faux Godspeeds, who didn’t speak and emitted a high frequency sound. We never learned why.

For the return of Pied Piper, production recreated the toll booth traffic on North Vancouver’s Cleveland Dam where Hartley Rathaway aka the Pied Piper fought the Flash in season one.

Meanwhile, Team Flash has a meltdown over the Mirrorverse.
