COVID-19: The CW Pushes Its Shows to 2021 Except For SUPERNATURAL Which Returns This Fall

Supernatural

Supernatural wants to end 15 years the right way.

With a final run this Fall on The CW in its old Thursdays at 8 p.m. time slot.

Of seven unaired episodes.

Five were filmed before the mid-March  industry shutdown because of the Covid-19 pandemic. And two (including the series finale) have yet to be shot.

Production of these will likely resume in Vancouver late this Summer or early Fall.

We already have five episodes in the can of Supernatural, Jared and Jensen will go back as soon as they are able to to finish up the last two episodes and then Jared will go off to Walker. The two studios are in constant communication to make sure that this is a seamless handoff.  —  The CW’s Mark Pedowitz said today.

The final run.

Jared Padalecki’s new show Walker will take over the Thursdays at 8 p.m. time slot in the new year.
