NBC renewed musical dramedy Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist today.

Critical acclaim, a passionate fanbase plus strong delayed and digital ratings made a good case for its return.

Filmed it Vancouver, season 2 is expected to be 13 episodes long.

Zoey Clarke is a computer coder in San Francisco who’s have hard time dealing with the reality that her father Mitch (Peter Gallagher) is dying. After an unusual event, she starts to hear the innermost wants and desires of the people around her through songs. At first, she questions her own sanity but soon realizes this unwanted curse may just be a gift. Add a love triangle between Zoey and her best friend Max (Skylar Astin) and co-worker Simon (John Clarence-Stewart).
