REOPENING: Hallmark & Other TV Movies First To Resume Production in Hollywood North After 3-Month Shutdowm?

Some of the BC film industry’s 35,000 crew are getting back to work after a 3-month Covid-19 shutdown as four TV movies are expected to start production this month.

TV movie For Better Or Worse started filming in Kelowna this week, according to the DGC’s BC Production List.

For Better or Worse

Director: David I. Strasser from Vancouver.

Dates: June 8th to 23rd.

Two more TV movies —  Christmas Forgiveness and  Wedding Every Weekend — are scheduled to start filming in Vancouver on June 22nd.

Christmas Forgiveness

Director: To Come.

Dates: June 22nd to July 10th.

Wedding Every Weekend

Director: Kevin Fair from Vancouver.

Dates: June 22nd to July 13th.

And another TV movie on June 26th.

Kite Festival of Love

Director: Christie Will Wolf from Ontario.

Dates: June 26th to July 17th.

Any cast, creators or crew from outside Canada need to do the government-mandated self-quarantine for 14 days.
