SEASON 5: Sara Abducted By Aliens? Where We Left LEGENDS OF TOMORROW in Season Finale.

Legends of Tomorrow.

Where did Sara go?

In tonight’s Legends of Tomorrow season finale, the team gathered in 1970s London to say goodbye to Charlie at a performance of her punk rock band The Smell.

After a group hug outside, Charlie headed back into the Club as the Legends walked away. Sara lingered and, unnoticed by her team, was sucked up into the atmosphere in a flash of  blue light.

Alien abduction? Yes.

We just thought it would be so fun with this new season to explore aliens. Different aliens every episode.

We love alien movies. Particularly from the 70s. The conspiracy thriller…. weird…X-Files…shadowy.

Season 6 Synopsis.

Having spent last season trying to track down the Loom of Fate in order to bring back their slain comrades, the Legends must now save history from a foe like none they’ve encountered in the past or future. Co-captains of the time-ship Waverider Sara Lance and Ava Sharpe have dealt with monsters, time anomalies, and most recently, villains from Hell, but this season they will face something even more challenging and bizarre … space aliens!

After one of their own is abducted by a ruthless alien, this new mission becomes personal. It will take more than the combined powers of a dark magician, John Constantine; a semi-reformed arsonist, Mick Rory; historian who transforms into steel, Nate Heywood; and a brother-sister wind-totem-wielding duo, Zara Tarazi and Behrad Tarazi to save the world for a sixth time. They must recruit a new Legend, a woman who was abducted by aliens when she was a child and supposedly imbued with powers that will help the team defeat their intergalactic foes. Either that or she’s just crazy

Cast: Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan, Jes Macallan, Shayan Sobhian.

Who will be cast as the new abducted-by-aliens-as-a-child Legend?

Who’s leaving?

Tonight was Maisie Richardson Sellers’s last night as a full-time Legend. Co-showrunner Phil Klemme told TVLine that they’d known from the beginning of season 5 that this would be her last and wrote her Fates arc as a fitting sendoff.

She played two characters on Legends of Tomorrow over four seasons — Amaya Jiwe aka Vixen and shapeshifter Charlie aka Clotho, one of the Greek Fates.

Zari 1.0 also departed at season’s end, but actress Tala Ashe remains as influencer Zari 2.0.

Legends of Tomorrow season 6 is expected to air on The CW in the Spring of 2021.
