Did Warner Bros. TV send out 30-day notices to the casts of The Flash, Riverdale, Batwoman and Superman & Lois to return to Vancouver?
Notices went out this week for the actors to be back in Vancouver between August 20th to 27th to start their Canadian government-mandated 14-day self quarantines, report Deadline:Hollywood and sister publication TV Line.
Add another week or two for settling in, costume fittings, rehearsals and cast reads and filming of the new seasons should start mid-September.
How will the casts self-isolate?
In their own home-away-from-homes in Vancouver? Or in a hotel room by themselves, on an entire hotel floor per show or maybe in a house together?
Cast: Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Nicolet, Jesse L. Martin and Tom Cavanaugh.
Cast: KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Cole Sprouse, Camila Mendes, Madelaine Petsch, Vanessa Morgan, Casey Cott, Charles Melton and Madchen Amick.
Cast: Javicia Leslie, Rachel Skarsten, Camrus Johnson, Meagan Tandy, Nicole Kang and Dougray Scott.
Cast: Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Jordan Elsass, Alexander Garfin, Dylan Walsh, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, Wolé Parks.
Superman & Lois has targeted September 28th to start production of the new series.
How is The CW handling the delayed production because of the pandemic?
New seasons of The Flash, Riverdale, Batwoman and Superman & Lois don’t premiere until January 2021.
What about DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl casts, whose shows don’t premiere until the Spring or Summer of 2021?
We’ll have to wait and see.
What about Charmed and Nancy Drew casts, whose shows film in Vancouver and premiere January 2021?
These are CBS Television Studios productions and that studio will send out 30-day notices to its casts.
