REOPENING: WYNONNA EARP To Start Production on Other Half of Season 4 Mid-July in Calgary?

Wynonna Earp is expected back in Calgary mid-July to finish production on the other half of season four.

Based on the graphic novel, Wynonna Earp follows Wyatt Earp’s descendants, Wynonna (Melanie Scrofano) and Waverly (Dominique Provost-Chalkley), as they hunt for revenants— the resurrected demon souls of outlaws killed by their grandfather — in the town of Purgatory. Along the way, Waverly has built a relationship with Purgatory officer Nicole Haught (Katherine Barrell). Hashtag: #WayHaught.

The supernatural western started filming the new season in Calgary at the beginning of the year — after months of delay because of financial woes at IDW Entertainment — only to hit pause halfway through due to the pandemic.

Restart filming dates: July 16th to September 10th (via Production Weekly).

Episodes: 12 (six left to film).

Syfy will premiere season 4 of Wynonna Earp on Sunday, July 26th, airing the first six episodes.
