The new adaption of Stephen King’s legendary plague novel The Stand premieres December 17th on CBS All-Access.

Starring Alexander Skarsgård, Whoopi Goldberg, James Marsden, and many more, the limited series wrapped production in Vancouver as COVID-19 hit.

The Stand series filmed in and around Vancouver from mid-September last year to mid-March this year as Covid-19 shut down film and TV production worldwide.

Cast: Alexander Skarsgard, Whoopi Goldberg. James Marsden, Odessa Young, Owen Teague, Amber Heard, Henry Zaga, Jovan Adepo, Greg Kinnear, Brad William Henke, Daniel Sunjata, Heather Graham, Nat Wolff, Eion Bailey, Katherine McNamara, Hamish Linklater.

Mother Abagail is a 108-year-old prophet who sees visions from God and the Good in the story. She establishes a community in Boulder, Colorado.

Alexander Skarsgard is Randall Flagg aka the Devil and the Evil in the story. He establishes a community in Las Vegas.

James Marsden is Stu Redman, a survivor of the super-flu.

Odessa Young is pregnant Frannie Goldsmith, a survivor of the super-flu.

Owen Teague is Harold Lauder and Odessa Young is Frannie Goldsmith, who go in search of survivors after the superflu hits Ogunquit, Maine.

Jovan Adepo as musician Larry Underwood and Heather Graham as socialite Rita Blakemoor, two of the few survivors in New York City.

Amber Heard is Nadine Cross, a conflicted woman but one compelled by her allegiance to Randall Flagg.

Nat Wolff is  Lloyd Henreid, a killer trapped in prison and freed by Randall Flagg to be his right-hand man.

Katherine McNamara is Julie Lawry, a small-town girl with a wild side who is one of Lloyd’s conquests.
