Jensen Ackles has auditioned to be a superhero for years: suiting up as Jason Todd, the Red Hood, and Batman.
Like Captain America, Soldier Boy fought in World War II and became the very first superhero.

The new role reunites Jensen Ackles with Supernatural creator Eric Kripke, who’s showrunner of The Boys.

Season 3 of The Boys is expected to start filming in Toronto in early 2021.
