Seven days of quarantine to do before the fun work — Jared Padalecki.
Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are almost halfway through their 14-day full-quarantine in Vancouver, ahead of filming their final two episodes here.
Target filming dates: August 18th to September 11th (via DGC-BC Production List).
Their Canadian government-mandated full quarantine started at 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 2nd and should end at 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 16th.
Next Sunday I’m gonna go outside – Jensen.
If y’all fly to Vancouver just look for two hairy dudes [next Sunday] that look like Sam & Dean running out into the surf for no reason…frolicking — Jared & Jensen.
Today J2 — as they are known to the Supernatural fandom — did a live Q&A from quarantine in their Vancouver apartments for Creation Entertainment’s virtual fan experience.
How would their characters Sam & Dean Winchester handle a full quarantine?
Jared Padalecki says Sam would handle it just like he has — I think Sam would be reading, eating salad and running on the treadmill, kinda like Jared…Sam would be organizing the library, reading a lot of lore books, sharpening his mental acuity….maybe running around the bunker.
Jensen Ackles say Dean would handle it differently than him — I think Dean would be on his way to full-blown diabetes and probably under the hood of the [Impala]… just a plate of bacon and brake fluid and grease.
How are Jared and Jensen handling full quarantine?

I have lived in the same apartment here in Vancouver for about six years so I have built a life here somewhat…[Gen and I and our] three kids lived here while we were shooting…I’ve got stuff everywhere…stacked up tubs of kids toys, coffee mugs and magazines and everything else so I’ve been using this time to gradually go through my apartment …it’s kind of been tortuous. I’ve got a nice little patio so I can see what’s going on outside…it’s so beautiful here [in Vancouver] and as Jensen knows it’s 100 degrees with 100 per cent humidity in Texas so you don’t want to go outside but here I’m looking outside and going…if I could only…This is when I wish it was October, November, December when it’s rainy and grey [in Vancouver] and I’m like — I ain’t going’ outside. So I’ve been sitting here just cleaning up. — Jared.

A lot of straightening up. I’ve been in this place for six years now in this particular apartment so knowing that the end is nigh I’ve started to go through…it’s amazing how much crap you can collect…to be fair we don’t live live here…this is really kind of a crash pad..it’s our home when we’re working but for the most part it’s not where we keep all of our valuables …and our memories but still it’s a lot of crap. I’ve been slowly going through everything and trying not to go slowly insane — Jensen.

Day 6 – Jensen was happy to get a quarantine gift bag from the Supernatural crew.

On Day 2, Jared and Jensen zoomed into a Campfire Sing-a-Long with the band Kansas and numerous fans hosted by co-star Misha Collins as part of his 2020 GISH Hunt.

Who else is in Vancouver?
Misha Collins? He complained about the heat in his “motel” earlier this week.
Alex Calvert? He’s based in Vancouver.
Rob Benedict who plays Chuck aka God has shared Vancouver quarantine pics.
Jake Abel who plays Adam and Michael’s vessel has posted quarantine videos.
Once quarantine is over, Jared and Jensen will head back to set one last time.

Main Cast: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, Alexander Calvert.
Supernatural had to shut down when the film industry suspended production in mid-March out of coronavirus fears.
Misha Collins shared a photo after the shutdown of the main cast together on set in Vancouver, shooting episode eighteen of the final season.
Jensen Ackles shared a similar photo on Jared Padalecki’s birthday .
Fans watched the main quartet filming in the Impala in early March.

Supernatural is on The CW’s Fall schedule, with seven unaired episodes on Thursday nights.
We already have five episodes in the can of Supernatural. Jared and Jensen will go back as soon as they are able to to finish up the last two episodes and then Jared will go off to [new series] Walker. The two studios are in constant communication to make sure that this is a seamless handoff. — The CW’s Mark Pedowitz said in mid-May.
Five were filmed before the industry shutdown. The final two will be filmed this summer.
Where did we leave Supernatural?
The last Supernatural episode to air was the thirteenth episode on March 23rd, with the Winchester brothers looking for an edge against Chuck aka God.
Destiny’s Child featured Jared and Jensen’s real-life wives Genevieve Padalecki and Danneel Harris Ackles reprising their characters demon Ruby and can’t-be-trusted Sister Jo.
And ended with Jack getting his soul back and apologizing to Sam & Dean for their mother Mary’s death — “It was all my fault”. Is a restored Jack strong enough to defeat Chuck?
Who else can we expect to see in the final seven episodes?
Chuck aka God (Rob Benedict), God’s sister Amara/the Darkness (Emily Swallow), Sam & Dean’s half-brother Adam/Michael’s vessel (Jake Abel), angel Uriel (Robert Wisdom) and Charlie (Felicia Day) are expected to make appearances.
