New Netflix dramedy series Maid, produced by John Wells & Margot Robbie, plans to film in Victoria this Fall/Winter.

Filming dates: September 24th – March 4th.

Maid is adapted from Stephanie Land’s memoir Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive about what it’s like working as a maid for the wealthy.

Writer: Molly Smith Metzler.

Director: John Wells is directing the premiere episode.

The series will chronicle a single mother who turns to housekeeping to — barely — make ends meet .
