Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which follows the voyages of Capt. Christopher Pike on the U.S.S. Enterprise, is expected to start filming in Toronto this Winter/Spring.
Target filming dates: February 18th to July 30th.
Strange New Worlds will be the third series in the new Trekverse.
Strange New Worlds takes Pike, Spock and Number One almost up to the reign of Captain James T Kirk, with Anson Mount, Ethan Peck and Rebecca Romjin reprising their roles from season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery.

Strange New Worlds cast joined Discovery cast at Comic Com @ Home for an illustrated read through of the Star Trek: Discovery season 2 finale.
The other Star Trek: Discovery spinoff Section 31 is also expected to film in Toronto whenever it is greenlit. Section 31– working title Wind Cleaver – follows Captain Philippa Georgio (Michelle Yeoh) in Starfleet’s semi-secret and autonomous Section 31 division.
