ABC is ramping up its Fall promotional push for David E. Kelley’s new drama series Big Sky with footage from three+ weeks of filming in Vancouver.
Filming dates: August 27th – January 13th, 2021.

From visionary storyteller David E. Kelley comes Big Sky, a thriller adapted from C.J. Box book series. Kelley will write multiple episodes and serve as showrunner in its premiere season. Private detectives Cassie Dewell (Kylie Bunbury) and Cody Hoyt (Ryan Phillippe) join forces with his estranged wife and ex-cop, Jenny Hoyt (Katheryn Winnick ), to search for two sisters (Natalie Alyn Lind & Jade Pettyjohn) who have been kidnapped by a truck driver on a remote highway in Montana. But when they discover that these are not the only girls who have disappeared in the area, they must race against the clock to stop the killer before another woman is taken.
Cast: Kylie Bunbury, Katheryn Winnick, Ryan Phillippe, John Carroll Lynch, Dedee Pfeiffer, Brian Geraghty, Natalie Alyn Lind, Jesse James Keitel, Jade Pettyjohn, Valerie Mahaffey.
Natalie Alyn Lind is Danielle Sullivan, the older of the two kidnapped sisters/Jade Pettyjohn (Little Fires Everywhere) is Grace Sullivan, the younger of the two kidnapped sisters.
Kylie Bunbury is private detective Cassie Dewell.
Katheryn Winnick (Vikings) is ex-cop Jenny Hoyt and Cody’s estranged wife.
Ryan Phillippe is private detective Cody Hoyt.
John Carroll Lynch is Montana state trooper Rick Legarski.
Dedee Pfeiffer is Denise Brisbane,.
Brian Geraghty is long haul-trucker Ronald Pergman, with a disturbing dark side.
Valerie Mahaffey is his mother Helen Pergman .
Jesse James Keitel is Jerrie Kennedy.
