Nancy Drew plans to start filming season 2 this Fall in Vancouver, with Covid-19 safety protocols.

Teen detective Nancy Drew opts out of college after her mother’s death to stay in Horseshoe Bay, Maine, with her father Carson Drew. Nancy and the Drew Crew try to solve some murders which hit close to home. To complicate things, Nancy is haunted by the ghost of Lucy Sable, who it turns out is her biological mother and rich Ryan Hudson is her biological father.

Season 2 of Nancy Drew will premiere in January 2021 in its regular time slot on Wednesday nights after Riverdale.
Where did we leave the show in season one?
Nancy Drew ended prematurely with episode 19 instead of episode 22, due to the coronavirus production shutdown.
Producers plan to roll the last 3 episodes of season one into the first three episodes of season 2.

There’s a Dad triangle coming now that Nancy has learned her biological father is Ryan Hudson (Riley Smith) not Carson Drew (Scott Wolf).
The premature season finale ended with Nancy Drew falling from a cliff to the rocks below in a callback to her biological mother Lucy Sable’s fall and death in the premiere.
