Netflix’s next big Sandra Bullock movie is back in Vancouver to finish production, after a five+ month shutdown.
Target filming dates: September 2nd – October 7th.
About a woman’s attempt to rejoin society after she serves a 15-year prison stretch for the murder of two policemen. The tragedy happened after the policemen came to evict her family from their farmhouse. Her hope is to live quietly and reunite with her troubled younger sister, but the paroled woman is targeted for a revenge campaign by two sons of one of her victims.
Production on the life-after-prison movie from Christopher Quarrie started in early February in Vancouver and was suspended in mid-March when film & TV production shut down around the world out of corona virus fears

The movie started off filming on-location with Sandra Bullock as the recent parolee in Vancouver’s Chinatown.

Adapted by Christopher McQuarrie from Sally Wainwright’s British miniseries Unforgiven, the film follows Ruth Slater (Sandra Bullock) who after serving a prison sentence for a violent crime, tries to re-enter a society that refuses to forgive her past. Facing severe judgment from the place she once called home, her only hope for redemption is finding the estranged younger sister she was forced to leave behind.
