Hallmark’s Annual Christmas Countdown Begins With Filmed-in-BC Jingle Bell Bride & Chateau Christmas

Hallmark’s annual Christmas countdown begins tonight with Jingle Bell Bride.

It’s one of twenty-four new holiday romances filmed in B.C. for Hallmark’s annual Countdown to Christmas and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Miracles of Christmas.

All were shot during the pandemic this past summer and into the Fall with Covid safety plans and a pick of locations — turning places like Chateau Whistler, Burnaby Heritage Village, Hope, Kelowna, Cloverdale, Ladner and Victoria into unseasonal winter wonderlands.

Jingle Bell Bride

Cast: Julie Gonzalo and Ronnie Rowe Jr.

Wedding planner Jessica Perez travels to a remote town in Alaska to find a rare flower for a celebrity client and is charmed by the small town during Christmas, as well as the handsome local  helping her.

Chateau Christmas

Cast: Merritt Patterson and Luke Macfarlane.

Margot, a world-renowned pianist, returns to Chateau Newhaus to spend the holidays with her family and is reunited with an ex who helps her rediscover her passion for music.

Filming dates: July 6th to 25th.

Cast: Alvina August and Eion Bailey.

Bakery owner Molly meets Josh, a widower who recently moved to town with his young son, but she is also charmed by a mysterious client whom she’s never met in person and she doesn’t realize that they’re the same man.
