REOPENING: CHARMED Filming Season 3 in Downtown Vancouver After Pause Due To Delayed Test Results

Charmed is filming season 3 in downtown Vancouver today, almost a week after production paused because of delays in Covid-19 testing results.

Revised filming dates: October 6th to May 21st, 2021.

Cast: Madeleine Mantock, Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffrey, Rupert Evans.

Mel and Maggie and their older sister Macy, who they didn’t know existed until their mother died, are a trio of powerful witches known as the Charmed Ones. Harry Greenwood is their white lighter there to guide them as they battle dark forces.

Showrunners: Craig Shapiro and Elizabeth Kruger.

Charmed started off filming today at 100 Powell Street in Gastown, a shoot originally scheduled for last Wednesday, September 30th.

And then moved to Hamilton Street near Victory Square with Rupert Evans on a set dressed like England with a British telephone box and double decker bus.

And then moved again to the Permanent event venue on Pender Street for an afternoon & evening shoot.

Where did we leave the show in season 2?

Charmed ended prematurely with episode 19 instead of episode 22, due to the coronavirus production shutdown, so we were left with a couple of cliffhangers:

Producers plan to roll the last 3 episodes of season 2 into the first three episodes of season 3.

In the premature finale, The Charmed Ones managed to retrieve and restrain Harry’s Darklighter doppelgänger known as Jimmy.

But Harry almost ruined the plan in order to protect Macy. Concerned that his feelings for Macy had put everyone in jeopardy he asks Maggie to use her power of persuasion to make him fall out of love with the eldest Charmed One.

Will Maggie do it?
