Syfy’s new Day of the Dead series — an ode to George Romero’s 1985 zombie classic — announced some of its cast filming in Vancouver this Fall.
Filming Dates: September 14th to December 4th.
Day of the Dead is the intense story of six strangers trying to survive the first 24 hours of an undead invasion. This ode to Romero’s famous flesh- eaters reminds us that sometimes all it takes to bring people together is a horde of hungry zombies trying to rip them apart.
Cast: Keenan Tracey, Daniel Doheny, Natalie Malaika, Kirsty Dinsmore, Morgan Holmstrom.
Keenan Tracey is Cam McDermott, high school senior and son of a local police detective.
Daniel Doheny is Luke Bowman, son of the town mayor.
Natalie Malaika is Lauren Howell, assistant mortician at the local mortuary.
Kirsty Dinsmore (Vikings) is Amy, a life coach and daughter of the town doctor.
Morgan Holmstrom is Sarah Blackwood, former Special Forces now working on a fracking crew outside of town. Szombie invasion.
